"Persistence Pays"

It took 15 years, and many successes and reversals, but the small entrepreneurial firm ultimately became part of a Fortune 500 company.
Here's how GBS helped...

No one would know it today, but the cable line installation company started with just 10 employees who performed high- and low-tech operational work throughout the Delaware Valley. Over the years, the company expanded and contracted through many economic fluctuations. Each time, they called on GBS to help as advisor and sometimes even as "firefighter."

GBS assisted the client with a wide range of services, from enrollments and employee communications in times of expansion to outsourcing and outplacements in times of contraction. Through each "gyration," GBS successfully met the company's changing needs and objectives. Even when the size of the group made it very difficult to negotiate and manage a benefits package, GBS stayed the course.

After 15 years, the company merged with a Fortune 500 firm. Everyone walked away with a feeling of mutual respect and shared business success, especially GBS, since the client acknowledged that their continued guidance was critical in "getting us there."
