Long-term disability insurance is coverage that provides monthly payments, up to a specified dollar amount and for a specific time period, after a covered illness or injury occurs. Long-term disability insurance is now available to Cultural Alliance members and their employees on an individual basis. This individual coverage is offered through Commonwealth Investment Management Group, LLC.

- Policy can never be cancelled as long as premiums are paid
- Flexible benefit periods of 2, 3, 5, 6 years or to age 65
- Flexible eligibility periods - benefits can begin after 60, 90 or 180 days
- Benefit payments are tax-free when premiums are paid with personal funds
- Waiver of premium while benefits are paid, after 90 days
- Cost-of-Living and Inflation Option riders available
